Porn Star Bree Olson was named Best New Starlet at the 2008 AVN Awards show held Saturday night at the Mandalay Bay Events center in Las Vegas.

It was an emotional victory for the 21-year-old performer. “I can’t stop crying. I’m just so thankful,” Olson told AVN. “I was so scared. Everybody kept telling me that it’s all politics, but now I know that it’s not because I worked so hard…I took a lot of cocks in the ass for this!”

Bree Olson took a break from her sophomore year in college to give the adult industry a shot in November 2006. The Fort Wayne, Indiana natives blonde sweetheart looks and shamelessly nasty performances soon catapulted her to the top of the triple-X talent pool. While Bree Olson plans to return to school this year (she’s a biology major), she has no intentions of abandoning adult. “My first scene was just a solo and I just remember that camera turning on and all of a sudden—I was just Bree,” recalled Olson. “I wasn’t my regular self anymore. I could feel free and not worry about what other people thought.”

“I’m so happy with Adam & Eve and my contract right now,” added Bree Olson, teary-eyed. “And this was a great start to a new year for all of us. Just don’t tell anyone that I cried.”
